If you grew up, as I did, in a "Fundamental Baptist Church" you understand what a "Fundie" is. The imprisonment to "standards" and dress codes and whole sermon series about music and haircuts. Stories of women who wear pants, inexplicably losing their legs and, of course...God putting you on the shelf. I bore the scars of this nonsense, as did most of the kids I grew up with. The sad tragedy is how it twists your view of God into a hateful, angry, capricious, vicious spectre who can never be pleased and really...never did love you, despite what John 3:16 says. Your host Craig Daliessio, is a former fundie who found grace. A true ragamuffin who lived through a childhood and on into adulthood full of the sick, twisted lies of Fundamental Baptist cultism and found the real freedom of Jesus Christ.
