Award winning film maker, Ondi Timoner has mastered the art of the long form documentary. She received critical acclaim for Dig! her compelling portrayal of two indie rock bands, "The Brian Jonestown Massacre" and "The Dandy Warhols" led by doppleganger frontmen, Anton Newcombe and Courtney Taylor Taylor. Timoner spent seven years of her life chronicling the fascinating psychodrama of two bands that loved each other as each were headed in dramatically different directions. After Dig! She jumped right back into another epic project called "We Live In Public." In it, she spent over ten years documenting the life of internet pioneer, Josh Harris. Harris and a group of artists in New York chose to live online, 24-7 in a building called "The Terrarium" whihc was loaded, top-to-bottom with cameras and mcs. Harris was out to prove how people would trade privacy for popularity in the coming virtual age. Critcally acclaimed, the late Roger Ebert gave the film four stars while saying, " "This is a remarkable film about a strange and prophetic man."
