Tonight we have a very special guest Cyndy Anzek. She is the Sr. Director of Walton Options in North Augusta, SC. She is a true champion when it comes to advocating for people with Tramatic Brain Injury! Cyndy Anzek received her BA at Michigan State University where she studied Psychology and socio-cultural anthropology. She later received her Master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is currently the Senior Director for Walton Options for Independent Living. Cyndy holds certifications as a certified rehab counselor, a certified community work incentives coordinator, a certified brain injury specialist and is a notary public in both GA and SC. Cyndy is a parent to 5 children ages 6 to 25. Cyndy volunteers as a guardian ad litem and is the past president of her Lions club. Cyndy is currently the treasurer for the SC statewide independent living council. Cyndy served two terms on the BIASC board of directors. Cyndy coaches a kinderkickers soccer team in her spare time.
