She experienced innovation in the recording field with the first "overdub" in her first hit in 1947, year number two in the Baby Boom era. She had giant hits like Tennessee Waltz and Old Cape Cod and her last charted hit in 1964, Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte may be the most familiar to many.
